Central Valley Common Sense

mendes-trasnp5

Having been born and raised in the Central Valley, I know what it means to put in a hard day’s work to try and provide for my family. I am proud to call Hanford home and I am grateful to live in such an amazing place.

My vision is to make our part of the Central Valley safer to live and work. While serving on the Hanford City council, I have done just that by increasing the number of police officers on the street and reducing response times for firefighters by building a new fire station.

I also understand that in order to put food on the table and get by, we must have well-paying jobs that can turn into careers. During my time on the Hanford City Council, I prioritized finding large employers that would come do business in our cities. I know the only way to make real change, is to go out there and do it yourself.

I hope you will join me in my vision to lead the Central Valley to real prosperity and success.
